HK KZS CALCIUM SILICATE BLOCK CLAMP 4.500 – 6.000 KG

For the calcium silicate block industry, JKB has developed a special clamp that can handle a large quantity of calcium silicate elements in one go. These clamps are generally mounted on heavy forklift trucks that are able to be driven safely with such quantities and weights.

The size of the clamp used depends on the size of the curing trolleys on which these elements leave the autoclave. As a rule the clamping length ranges from 1,800 to 2,400 mm and can pick up weights of between 3,000 and 6,000 kg. The operations typically continue 24 hours a day so it is important that the clamp is capable of withstanding such intense use.

Our JKB HK KZS calcium silicate block clamps are robustly constructed, with each clamp arm comprising eight or more vertical beams and five or more large pivot points.
The slimline design of the rotation shaft with oil feedthrough ensures optimum vision between the clamp and the crane arm. Hydraulic centre of gravity positioning is fitted as standard to allow picking up half a pack at one end of the clamp. This moves the centre of gravity back under the rotation axis, so the load is more stable and therefore safer to transport.
